Help all Grindleford Primary School children get those special essentials

The Gallop is run by Grindleford Primary School PTA, who use the proceeds to buy vital equipment and help the children access essential childhood experiences.

Since it started, decades ago, the Gallop has funded IT equipment for the school, like iPads and Chromebooks, musical instruments like flutes and ukuleles, and outdoor equipment, like a huge timber trim trail and climbing wall. The Gallop also subsidises important school events like the spooky disco and secret santa, as well as annual school trips like the pantomime.

It also supports other local services, like Grindleford and Eyam Playgroup and Edale Mountain Rescue.

Most importantly, the money raised from the Gallop supports the inclusive ethos for which Grindleford Primary School is so well known, helping local children of all backgrounds and means to enjoy the excitement of school trips and experiences equally, without families worrying how to pay for them.
