The team from Fabian4 have been working throughout the day to try and resolve the problem. About 200 email addresses were retrieved and these have been emailed and given priority access.
The exact gremlin in the server still hasn’t been identified and we don’t want to open places again until we can guarantee there won’t be the same failure. Please watch this space for details on when we will reopen the entries site (guaranteed to be a more sociable hour!).
We really appreciate the messages of support that people have emailed and posted. The last thing we want to do is let down Gallopers old and new. If you have any queries please email the email@example.com address and we will get back to you when we can (please bear in mind we are volunteers and have day jobs and families to contend with as well).
