Gallop 2022 – result and photos. Congratulations to everyone!!

What a day!! Congratulations to everyone who completed the course on Saturday in the fantastic March sunshine – for most of the day…

The results are now available at The results take a short while to load after you click the link so please be patient.

Congratulations to Jack as fastest male at 2:22:32 (new new course record!) and Florence as fastest female at 3:02:10 (10 minutes quicker than last year).

There’s photos in our gallery and on our Facebook page along with a video. Many thanks to photographers Mr Petts and Matt.

As always many thanks to the volunteers who make the event happen. In addition to those that you see on the day – such as those at the start/finish and marshals en route – there’s also the kitchen staff, cake bakers, soup ingredient chopper uppers (including some school pupils), sweepers, route markers and parking marshals.

Thanks also to the good people of Grindleford who tolerate the influx of cars and runners and the sponsors:

The date is yet to be confirmed for 2023 – watch this space and for updates.

From Team Gallop on behalf of the Grindleford Primary School PTA

1 week to go!

Only 1 week to go until the 2022 Gallop!

The trails are nice and muddy thanks to all the recent rain. Long range forecast is looking settled (famous last words!).

Race information will be emailed out Monday evening. Entry transfer deadline is Monday midnight.

There are a handful of running places that have become available so please go to the Fabian4 entry site if you want to grab one! Looking forward to see you many of you next Saturday, love Team Gallop X
